The Sponsored Social Strategist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive brand partnership campaigns across social media. This role requires collaboration across all departments to ensure a cohesive approach to content and messaging.

This role reports directly to the Director, Social Media and collaborates heavily with Integrated Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for oversight of branded social content strategy, production, and execution
  • Craft copy, design graphics, and edit video content to be posted across FOS social platforms (including X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) for brand partners
  • Work directly with internal teams and external clients/vendors to manage feedback and approvals promptly
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing to build and post-effective sponsored storytelling across FOS social platforms
  • Execute paid social strategy as developed by the Integrated Marketing team and manage campaigns daily to optimize campaign performance
  • Work with the Director of Social Media to brainstorm new content series and franchises for partners
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to inform strategy and execution tactics
  • Communicate with internal teams to track KPIs and report on social media performance
  • Stay updated on emerging social media platforms and technologies to keep our strategy innovative and relevant

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, preferably within sports or entertainment
  • Proven ability to create engaging content and manage multiple social media platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools
  • Experience working with and adapting to feedback from clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Strong understanding of effective branded storytelling across social media platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage cross-functional projects
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the digital media landscape
